DIRECTOR STATEMENT

When I was asked to make a music video for Pylon Reenactment Society's new album, "Magnet Factory," I jumped at the chance of working with singer Vanessa Briscoe Hay, who fronted one of the seminal alternative rock groups, Pylon, back in the '80s. I was especially thrilled to create a video for the song, "Fix It," which features guest vocalist, Kate Pierson of the B-52s, another one of my all-time favorite '80s bands. Needless to say, I adopted a retro visual style for the video, which prominently features boomboxes and radios from that era, which, of course, needed fixing!
