DIRECTOR STATEMENT
I started writing "The Boog" while wrapping post-production of my first film "Boxanne". We were just getting out of the Covid-19 shutdowns and I was inspired how Mothers from all over the Country had to step up to the plate and help get their children through the pandemic. While home schooling and trying to stay employed themselves their strength had no bounds.
After the red carpet event for "Boxanne", my then girlfriend and I flew out to Vegas and got married on Halloween. We Honeymooned in Los Angelas and absolutely felt at home on the west coast. I promised her then that I'll work really hard on projects to give us a reason to come back to L.A. and possibly build a professional life out there. "The Boog" is my calling card.
