SYNOPSIS: On a lonely country Road, a man in a classic muscle car motors down the blacktop without a care in the world. If only his passenger felt the same. Following classic horror tropes while turning others on their head, ‘The Road Less Traveled’ is a horror / suspense thriller set in the late 1970’s.

 

DIRECTOR BIO: After graduating college, Lindsay Barrasee traveled back and forth from Dunmore/Scranton, PA to San Francisco freelancing for CURRENT TV and working as a partner for YouTube. She then moved to Los Angeles in 2009 and worked on several multiple projects. Eventually, she found her way back to Scranton where she met her husband, David Corigliano, and started Voyager Video, a production and equipment rental company producing commercial content both regionally and nationally.


Barrasse works as a multimedia producer for her production company which serves the tri-state area, and is also a freelance photographer and an actor. She recently appeared in several episodes of Amazon's The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Season 2.


Behind the camera, her passion is focused on both cinematography and directing. She has received awards in video production, created dozens of international, national, and regional commercials, and has produced both short and feature length films.


She is a member of The Friends of The American Society of Cinematography (ASC), the United Nations Association of the USA (UNA-USA), the U.S. National Committee for UN Women, and is as a supporter of New York Women In Film and Television (NYWIFT). She also sits on several boards; the Vice President Secretary of American Advertising Federation of Scranton (AAF) and the social media and communications chair of the National Alliance On Mental Illness PA Scranton Area Chapter (NAMI).


She prides herself in her volunteer work and humanitarian efforts and is the recent recipient of the Woman of Excellence SAGE Award from The Greater Scranton Chamber Of Commerce.
