SYNOPSIS

A man who struggles with meth addiction has reached rock bottom. His mind constantly races as he gets closer to death.  WARNING: Includes meth use, sex, nudity, weapons, and graphic bloody scenes throughout.

DIRECTOR BIOGRAPHY

David Anderson lives in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He attended film school at New York Film Academy. He produces, directs, and writes films that reflect the political/ social climate and life as a member of the LGBT community. His influences include Dustin Lance Black, Spike Lee, Ryan Murphy, Jordan Peele, Martin Scorsese, Madonna, Greg Berlanti, Jane Campion, Melissa Etheridge, Freddie Mercury, and David Fincher. Aaron Perra (now Aaron Joshua) lives in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The Chaotic Melody of Tina marks his directorial debut. He's also a multi award winning actor, writer, singer, stylist, and painter. His works reflect on the social climate and nature. His cinematic style is described as edgy, fearless, and authentic. His inspirations include Walt Whitman, Pablo Picasso, Lizzo, and Britney Spears.

DIRECTOR STATEMENT

Aaron Joshua (then Aaron Perra) wrote this poem the day after he decided to quit drug and alcohol use.  David Anderson read it and knew immediately that this needs to be a film.  Anderson asked Joshua, and Joshua responded with a quick yes.

David Anderson previously worked with Aaron Joshua on Anderson's own film Twin Cities Pride 2020. Their chemistry was pitch perfect.  They never forgot that.  This is largely why Anderson asked Joshua to collaborate again.  This time, both take on producing, directing, and acting roles.  This made sense, considering Joshua wrote the poem.  Hence, this marks Aaron Joshua's directorial debut!

We wanted The Chaotic Melody of Tina to be as dark as possible to accurately depict the realism of rock bottom and nearing death.
