ALMA AND THE WOLF

Directed by Michael Patrick Jann

A rainy morning on the Oregon coast. A sheriff’s deputy encounters a former classmate wandering the backroads, covered in blood. A shocking act of violence has shaken the quiet community of Spiral Creek and a wolf has been seen prowling the woods with some unusual companions in tow.

“a unique blend of psychological horror and supernatural mystery with hints of folk horror and body horror. The film subverts expectations and turns conventions on their head throughout.” - Alex DiVincenzo, BLOODY DISGUSTING

OPENING NIGHT LIVE MUSIC

Presented by Great Circles, UPHOLSTERY creates dark music for curious minds. The Philadelphia-based art-rock troupe draws on a wide range of musical influences - from Portishead to Talking Heads, cabaret to post-punk - to create music that is visceral and thought-provoking. The band's discography consists of studio-produced concept albums, as well as musical selections from its telenovela-theater alter-ego, Señor Papos. Upholstery’s live performances often feature theatrical stagecraft and puppetry, so be prepared for the unexpected!
